Salisbury University Archives welcomes everyone to view the newest digital exhibit entitled “S.T.C. Serving Our Country.” During World War II, students and faculty from Salisbury State Teachers College risked their lives for their country. During that time, Anna Jones Cooper, head of the Alumni Association, corresponded with the service men and women and kept a sea of materials on the lives of these local heroes, some of whom were captured or killed during the war. The digital exhibit tells their stories by offering us a glimpse of the letters they sent home and the news articles written about them.
