Jobs and Careers and Occupations…Oh My!

Monday, June 10, 2013

Congratulations to Salisbury University’s recent graduates! Some of you might be in hot pursuit of your dream job — including returning students planning what steps you need to take next — so, why not take advantage of some great free resources that might help with your job search and research?

Salisbury University - Career Services - eRecruiting (resources for SU students, employers and alumni), Job Alerts (on-campus jobs, part time jobs, and graduate assistantships), and much more!

Maryland Workforce Exchange - From the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation. Search for jobs by keyword and/or city or zip code. Resources for job seekers, employers, and those interested in labor market information.

Occupational Outlook Handbook - From the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Profiles hundreds of occupations and includes information on What They Do, Work Environment, How To Become One, Pay, and projections for the 2010-20 decade.

Ask a Librarian about resources available in Blackwell Library specific to your research need. We are happy to help!
